Home learning

Here are a few notes on home learning in Room 21.

Every week we have homework sheets. These go home on Monday and are marked on Friday. Every student is expected to complete the tasks. If you feel your child should be exempt for any reason, please send a note from home.

Spelling lists are also sent home with homework. The lists are also on Spelling City, at spellingcity.com/mrcurry. The link is also in the sidebar on the right. If possible, please allow your child to access this website at home. There are games and tests to help your child learn their spelling words and it also means they can access their list if they forget or lose their spelling book.

All children are able to access mathletics.com. This engaging site is very useful in helping students practise what they have learned in maths.

We have had an awesome start to the year, quickly settling in and getting ready to challenge ourselves and have fun! We are all looking forward to a great year in 2017.
